Frequently asked.
How is this different from Notion / Things / OmniFocus?
Tiny Inbox is the place commitments land before they become tasks. Notion is for documents and structured projects. Things and OmniFocus are full task managers — great if you already know what you're doing with each item. Tiny Inbox is the messy capture-and-triage step before that. Many users keep both.
How do I sign in?
Today: Discord. Google sign-in is in flight; pending verification. We'll add GitHub and Microsoft after launch.
What data do you collect?
The text of items you capture, the email address you signed up with, and basic usage analytics (page views, capture counts) for understanding what's working. No tracking pixels, no third-party trackers, no marketing cookies. Full details in our privacy policy.
What's in Free vs Pro?
Free: capture from web, Discord, and Slack; triage, tag, search; export to plain text; 10 AI clarifications per month.
Pro ($3.99/mo or $39/yr): adds the browser extension, email forwarding, and MCP, plus unlimited AI clarifications. See the full comparison →
Does it work offline?
No. Tiny Inbox is a web app today; you need a connection to capture or triage. A native mobile app with offline capture is something we're considering for a future version.
